With a career that spans over 45 years in commercial development, Yehuda Netanel is an industry leader and visionary. In 1978, Yehuda established his own real estate development ventures. The first ground-up project was a six-unit condominium in Culver City, CA. In the years to follow, he developed over 58 projects ranging from apartment complexes, condominium projects mixed-use and retail centers. A couple of commercial projects had even received AIA awards. In all, Yehuda developed over 1,700 apartments, 400 condominiums/townhomes and 2,200,000 square feet of retail space.
Mr. Netanel’s development approach consists of combining marketing skills and good design to create more engaging projects. He believes that this is a good way to ensure better commercial success and long-term results to all involved.
Director of Development
Maggie Gallagher has been involved in the real estate industry since 1982, and has been instrumental to developers and owners by working closely with government officials, project teams, and anchor tenants to bring a number of complex real estate projects to completion. She has represented developers, property owners and investors, across the United States as well as Internationally. Her roles included entitlements, acquisitions, leasing, sales and marketing as well as concept development for new construction, re-habilitation, and re-positioning of existing properties.
In 2003 Ms. Gallagher established MG Real Estate LLC, a consulting, brokerage, and development firm. In 2015 MG Real Estate accepted an assignment with Gilad Development Inc. as a consultant for the repositioning of Ohio Station Outlets f/k/a/ Lodi Station Outlets, a 314,000 sf retail outlet center outside of Cleveland, Ohio. Ms. Gallagher went on to accept the position of Director of Development for The Lake District, a 160 acre “urban village” mixed-use development in Lakeland, TN.

John A. Bobango
Farris Bobango, General Counsel
Mr. Bobango’s practice concentrates in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities, venture capital, private equity, health care, real estate, taxation and government relations. Mr. Bobango has significant experience with a variety of financing structures, including private securities offering (both debt and equity transactions) and secondary mortgage markets. Mr. Bobango served on the Memphis City Council from 1996 to 2000 and formerly served as chairman of the Joint City and Shelby County Community Redevelopment Agency. He currently serves as President of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
Mr. Bobango is a member of the Memphis, Arkansas, Tennessee and American Bar Associations and the Florida Bar. He has been a frequent lecturer on securities, mergers, and acquisitions and venture capital related issues.
James B. McLaren
Adams and Reese LLP., Bond Counsel and TIF Counsel
James McLaren joined Adams and Reese in 2006 to help form the Memphis office. He is currently one of the firm’s Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Practice Group Leaders. He provides transactional counsel primarily for middle market M&A and finance transactions as well as transaction counsel in connection with project finance, generally involving economic development incentives. He also serves as outside general counsel for a number of entities, many of which he has represented for more than 20 years.
James has served as outside general counsel for the Downtown Memphis Commission, the downtown development authority for Memphis, for more than 25 years. In this role, he has supported the revitalization of downtown Memphis through planning and implementation of redevelopment initiatives such as tax incentives, tax increment financing, public-private partnerships, project development, land assembly and transactions involving historic tax credits.
Pinnacle Planning Advisors, Economic Advisor for TIF
From 2000-2015 Dexter Muller was a senior advisor for the Greater Memphis Chamber’s community development department. Additionally, Muller enjoys a strong partnership with the Commercial Real Estate Owner’s Alliance. Muller’s work in urban planning began in 1973 at the Office of Planning and Development which ultimately turned into a career that spans 40 plus years in the field. Prior to joining the Chamber, Muller was the director of Memphis Shelby County Office of Planning and Development.
Between his career with the City and the Chamber, Muller has played a part in negotiating deals with Gibson Guitar, Ducks Unlimited, International Paper, Thomas & Betts, Nucor and more.
Howell Marketing Strategies, LLC, CEO/Founder (HMS)
Amy founded Howell Marketing Strategies, LLC (HMS) in 1994. She and her team have served clients ranging in industry type from professional service groups (physicians, lawyers, accountants, etc) to aviation, banking, real estate and more. Her focus is always on how to best assist a client in telling their own story. She is a big believer in the power of social media and has guided her clients as they have embraced the digital world. HMS works with clients who need communications, public relations, crisis management, and key messaging strategies.
Amy is a graduate of Rhodes College (B.A., 1986), Leadership Memphis (Class of 1993) and has been active in the Memphis community serving on boards and assisting with numerous fundraisers. She has been involved with Rhodes College, serving as the Class President for a decade. She was named “Top 40 Under 40” by the Memphis Business Journal and “Women in Memphis who Make a Difference” by Memphis Women’s Magazine. She is a part owner of 4Memphis magazine—an avid cheerleading publication for the city of Memphis. Amy is also an author and has published four books over the last five years.
